Despite the increasing focus on achieving gender equality in all fields there are issues that need to be addressed as they are not completely out of our systems. It is important to address as well as understand gender stereotypes to understand their impact on young minds and how they can shape individuals.  Gender stereotypes play a significant role in shaping the attitudes and behavior of young minds. These stereotypes can influence how children view themselves, as well as their expectations for others based on gender. Moreover, gender stereotypes can also affect children's social and emotional development, as well as their academic achievement. The impact of gender stereotypes can be seen in a variety of settings, including at home, in school, and in the media.

This paper systematically reviews gender stereotypes in various fields of the society as well as their impact on young minds. It also reviews and compares stereotypes both at national and international level.
